2mm Venting Hole in Ball and Valve Body to safely vent downstream pressure to atmosphere when the valve is in the closed position.
This valve is designed primarily (but not exclusively) for use as a “Safety Feature” on Compressed Air (or other non-hazardous gas) Pipework Systems.
More commonly found available in Nickel Plated Brass, the valve is used to vent downstream line pressure through the base of the valve body to atmosphere.
